MotoGP: Lorenzo wins at Valencia, Marquez seals the MotoGP Title

With 13 points separating Marc Marquez and Jorge Lorenzo MotoGP title went to wire in Valencia since 2006. Both the riders showed their own pace since free practice to clinch the title.

Marquez qualified in front of Lorenzo and started the race from pole, but Lorenzo displayed a brilliant riding tactics and made brilliant passes to keep the lead. Meanwhile Marquez’s team mate Dani Pedrosa tried to pass Jorge Lorenzo but Lorenzo immediately responded and this duo fought very hard for the first place. At the end of the race Lorenzo won the race with Dani Pedrosa in second and Marc Marquez in third which handed Marquez the world title by just four points.

Marquez is the first rookie since Kenny Roberts to get the MotoGP world title in the Rookie season.
